Create a larger than life dragon eye inspired by Cressida Cowell.
Students will be inspired by the life and work of author and illustrator, Cressida Cowell creator of How to Train Your Dragon. Students will learn about where her inspiration for the amazing stories came from and how she filled her hours as a young child.
To create this multi-media project, students will use a sharpie to follow the step-by-step drawing, soft pastels for blending, mixing and resist techniques with watercolour and black acrylic paint.
Inside this kit, you will find enough supplies to do two paintings:
- 2 sheets 22.9 x30.5 cm (9x12 in) Watercolour Paper (This paper is slightly smaller than the paper used in our regular classes in order to facilitate safe delivery).
- Circle template
- Sharpie marker
- 3 Soft pastels - grey, turquoise blue, light green
- Watercolour yellow
