Feel the breeze in your hair as you create a refreshing sailboat scene inspired by the famous Dutch painter, Vincent Van Gogh.
Through videos and online written instructions, you will learn about post-impressionist artist Vincent Van Gogh, and what makes his art so unique.
Using a variety of art supplies and techniques students can follow the step-by-step instructions to re-create their own windy day waterfront landscape, complete with an island view!
This painting is geared for students 6 years and up. Some assistance may be necessary for younger students depending on each child.
Will take approximately 1 - 1 ½ hours to complete.
Inside this kit, you will find enough supplies to do two paintings:
- 2 pieces of watercolour paper, 9x12
- 8 colours of Acrylic paint: light blue, dark blue, green, white, red, yellow, brown and black.
- Blue liquid watercolour
- 4 pieces of chalk pastel - bright yellow, yellow ochre (more golden than the bright yellow) turquoise blue and grey
